With the experience that Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has in the politics, it is not a big deal for him when a particular person tries to slam him in public forums.
The incident that happened in University of the Philippines in Los Banos caught the attention of the netizens because of the rude gesture that this student named Stephen Villena who challenged the presidential aspirant Duterte in answering his question directly.
Now, there are allegations that this student, Stephen might have been paid by other candidates to do what he did towards Duterte.
This student continuously disrupted the Mayor as he was trying to answer the first question. He even said the words, "sana pakisagot lang po ng diretso kasi nagtatanong po kami ng diretso dito para po makauwi na kayo."
After what he did, many people tried to investigate the background of this student. They found his account in coin.ph which is a website in the Philippines that is allowing the transfer of money.
The money was transferred to his account from M Lhuillier Kwarta Padala. The total amount was P50, 199.99 from Imus, Cavite. There is no confirmation about this account because the Facebook Account of the Student was deactivated. The camp of Mar Roxas did not release any statement towards the issue as well.
